A Year in Pictures – 2007
December 20, 2007
Here are some pictures to sum up the year. We had lots of fun, most of which didn’t make it to the blog.
There are a lot of photos in this post, so if you have dial-up, go get a cup of tea while this page loads, then come back and view them.
First, pictures of the 2 handsome boys – Spragoon:
& Adidas:
Spragoon playing the cello in the orchestra:
Spragoon crossing the finish line of his first 5K race:
a ninja playing the flute (this is a CANDID shot, taken through the screen door):
All the 4th grade classes make a cake in the shape of NJ. 3 years ago, Spragoon’s class did it by counties – he had Mercer. This year, Adidas’s class did it by regions. This is looking from the north. Hershey’s kisses are the mountains in Sussex county – pretzel sticks are the pines in the Pine Barrens:
Adidas at a soccer game:
Some pictures of birds (taken by Adidas):
1 – Chickadee
2 – House Finch
3 – Gold Finch
Our Civil Union on 4/1/07:
Music provided by Spragoon on piano and friend on guitar, assisted by Adidas:
Washington DC trip:
1 – the National Zoo
2 – Air & Space Museum
3 – A visit to a Smithsonian Gift Shop (of course):
Mom and me (Hooksett, NH, May 2007):
Hull, MA:
Dad’s birthday. He was holding the cake backwards so that we would think he is 58, but we weren’t fooled!
Dad showing Spragoon how to make an origami Pegasus:
Dad and Adidas walking on the beach:
My sister and brother-in-law’s sailboat and their “crew”:
Miniature Golf, Nantasket Beach:
Our “couples” vacation in July:
The view from our porch, Burkehaven Lodge, Mount Sunapee, NH:
Me in Ashfield, MA
At our shack in the Catskills (AKA “Shacko”):
Spragoon and a friend in the lake:
Here’s Adidas and me in the kayak:
Spragoon, Adidas, and 2 friends in the kayak:

Adidas relaxing by the pavilion:
“Camp Shacko”
6 boys ages 10-12, 2 moms, and a 2-room shack. What a week!

And, my vote for the strangest picture of the year – our friend Anne and an alien:
Happy Holidays, everyone! Have a wonderful New Year.
